In this class we made a traditional men’s suit jacket. We covered the steps and techniques needed to assemble a suit from pad stitching to using all the various types of fabric. We learned how to create shoulder pads and add sleeve heads. My favorite part of the project was applying the undercollar Melton and creating a buttonhole by hand. This project was made of 100% wool, felt, and horsehair canvas.
